I spent 2 hours google search, forum search trying to get the mouse/keyboard to work for this 15 year old game and to my shock see similar issues people have had in that amount of time, 15 years. I'm glad I got this for free because all it cost me is my time.
I got this for free so thank you for putting this poorly implemented train wreck near the beginning of the game and I can avoid trying to get a refund. I play games to have fun but if game developers decide to punish players with content that is made for certain skill levels and the easy or "story mode" is unplayable because that decision to keep one part needlessly difficult to the point it breaks the game or even an option to skip after trying and failing a dozen or more times. Otherwise it's a nice looking and sounding game but I have no idea if it's good beyond the race.
