So i had tried 3 seperate times to get into TW3 on ps4, never could though, i thought it was just overhyped, but i kept seeing deals for it on GOG after i got myself a pc. I saw it for £10.00 toyed with the idea but decided against it, a few weeks later i think it was literally £5.00 for the goty edition, so i finally said... oh what the hell, ill get around to play it eventually. There it sat in my library for over a year unplayed, until finally i decided to load it up about a week ago i stuck with it this time, and then i fell in. im so impressed with the way the game handles its story its characters and atmosphere, it is one of the best games iv ever played. Me and Geralt are often at odds with each other, but he is true to himself. iv played through it all, dlcs included, only bad thing is now theres nothing in my library that will match the quality and greatness this game has showed me.
so happy that this came out on gog with all the expansions cos as a kid i never got to play the expansions since i just had the standard edition and now in all its glory i get to indulge in the full experience. If you have never played heroes its a turn based rts game that includes many rpg elements where you level up your heroes stockpile creatures into stacks to create an army whilst collecting resources and artifacts that boost your stats and give abilities etc you will have to besiege enemy castles and do battle with opposing heroes. if i had to describe this game it might sound odd but to me its really cosy kind of feels homely and pure the world is beautiful and interesting there is a good variety of heroes abilities spells and creatures, one of the best things about this game is in the campaignes you level your heroes and from instance to instance you get to bring forward your best heroes youv been levilling up with. the combat can be intense at times as well as pressure applied on you by where you are positioned on the map and where your enemies have positioned them self some times they take you by surprise and appear out of the darkness right next to your capital and main castle and you panic wondering if you can get any of your strong heroes over there in time to defend it. for me this game is near and dear i would strongly recommend this if it sounds like your kind of thing its good if you want difficult and its good if you want easy since you have the options for that too but yeah thats what i have to say about this game.
look if youve never played fo1-2 then play this its good it was my first fallout game as i started my bethesda journey at oblivion if you have no frame of reference to the previous titles then you will most likely thouroughly enjoy this game as i did its funny because fo:nv for me felt too different from how i became to associate fo games as and i was turned off by nv despite so many people loving it compared to the bethesda games... the graphics are fairly dated, but graphics really dont mean much to me personally... gameplay and shooting is slightly stiff but its still really fun. characters are fairly interesting story is really interesting at times and id give specifics but i wouldnt want to spoil it if you havent played it. this is how i ultimately see it: fallout3>fallout4>falloutnv. just be thankful your not playing 76....
