The game is a lovely case of a remaster done right. The music is the same, the graphics have been overhauled but still maintain the same style and feel. There's also a button to switch to retro graphics. The controls are much the same, but now we're not stuck with tank controls and can use analogue sticks. I do wish they'd have improved the resolutions of some textures, such as the lovely skyboxes and distant scenery. There are some levels with great views, but look too long and you'll notice the flaws. But overall, this is a fantastic game. I love it.
The game retains all of the original charm with a nice face lift and updated effects. The original spirit is still there. The music is the same (haven't encountered any tracks that were missed yet), and the controls also feel the same. A lovely, nostalgic game with modern polish.
