Factorio

5-Star Game with 1-Star Sign-Up System

The fact that in 2025 a game requires registration upon purchase just to get regular updates is a joke. Since Factorio literary never goes on sale, do the devs assume that anybody that plays their game, pirated it? Open question, just leave it here. It also stands in total opposition to what GOG believes as a store and a brand. DRM-Free games that you OWN FOREVER. Edit: Seriously, spend your money on other wonderful GOG games and don't support such shady practices. I just issued a REFUND

FAR: Lone Sails

Audiovisual fiesta with no story...

I'm very confused about this game... It's a true masterpiece regarding the visuals and music style. But at its heart is really empty. The game has basically NO STORY. You're never going to know who the main protagonist is or what is her relation to the only other character that is shown. You have to literally buy an artbook to know what's going on. That's not how you design a good game. The gameplay mechanics is also very shallow. It's supposed to be around 2-3 hour of fun at most but after the half of that time I felt like there is nothing new for me to explore. For the game this short, it's becoming dull and repetitive very, very quickly. The lack of a proper story also eliminates any future replayability. This is one-time shot. I don't think you would ever come back to this title after completing it once. All in all, I don't know what to think. Beautiful but empty world. Spend your money on something else, unless you love pushing buttons in a wonderful scenery.

Firewatch

Definitely recommended!

Beautiful visuals, story and music. Wonderful journey and heartwarming experience. It gives a strong vibe like Studio Ghibli movies. If you're looking something like that, go for it! You won't regret! The composer, Takeshi Furukawa, is true genius. You should see his "Behind The Music" video on the official Planet of Lana YouTube Channel. PS. For those who play on Steam Deck / Linux - the game runs perfectly out of the box without any tinkering :)

KILLBUG

Bought it today, doesn't run

The game is very buggy on Linux and not in a good way :( I can only see a gun and a screen with a blank background that changed colors as I moved the cursor but did nothing else. I thought it may be a thing with a Proton compatibility layer but as far as I can see I'm not alone.
