The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

My Favorite RPG of All Time

I've been playing games since Atari. Ultima, Final Fantasy, Zork, Baldur's Gate, Elder Scrolls, whatever ...you name it. Played em all. This one is my absolute, all time favorite, best RPG ever. I didn't even much like The Witcher 1 and thought 2 was pretty good but way too ridiculous on the PC hardware requirements at the time. This one however, especially with PC hardware in the last couple years......AMAZEBALLS! Great graphics, runs super smooth, launched extremely smoothly then just kept getting better with updates. It's the best stories (because there are many stories here, not just one), best combat, best graphics (for it's year of release), best inventory system, best almost everything. The only non-my favorite things (for want of a better term, things I think could be or have been done better, but aren't bad as they are) the skill system, alchemy and crafting. The skill system is clunky and more skill points would be nice. Alchemy is almost pointless, but can be powerful if you use it. It's just...you don't really need to. Crafting sucks. Figuring out what dismantles into what and what combines into what to get that super expensive material you need to craft whatever is a pain. Easier to just use coin, which is easy to get. If you only use coin, crafting is pretty easy and boring. Then again, I have yet to find ANY game I like crafting in. If you're new to The Witcher series, you can happily start here without knowing the back story, but might benefit from watching one of the numerous videos on YouTube that catch you up on the back story. If you do start here, you won't be disappointed. It's like Skyrim, but with better graphics, combat, story lines and characters and you are Geralt, not some random dude/chick. Best RPG I've played and CD Projekt is the best game developer around. Fair, not greedy and super picky about their product. They make a great game.
