When you just one a few minutes to relax by mindlessly shooting other planes, this is a great game. You can choose different combinations of plane components to suit your style or mood and based on that just have fun. The flight model gave me a good feel of aerial dogfights and if you do not expect a story driven game and want to have some fun, then I can fully recommend Luftrausers. It is like the old shooting arcades where the game level just gets more and more difficult until it is basically impossible to survive.

A lovely puzzle filled tale with really nice art and often very interesting puzzles. The game does not stress you in any way and even gives you solutions in a large engineer book that you can check if you get stuck. The art and style of the game and also the music are incredibly good and soothing. The only drawback I saw was that sometimes one did not know what to click on. This went a little bit against the "never stressing out the player" feeling of the whole game. However, often if you just followed the final instructions (dont panic, breath, continue not panicking) you saw where to go next.

As mentioned by others, if you are a fan of tactical combat as in SWAT3/4 or the original Rainbow Six, this game is meant for you. For me it scratched the same itch. At first, I was sceptical about the topdown view. However it works great in the end and a raid has the same level of tension as if it would be an FPS. I admit, I did not get to the campaign yet, as I am still playing the single missions - after hours of gameplay I am still enjoying just the single missions and training my team of police officers. The game has a great learning curve as you really learn new tactics by exploring different situations and combinations of gears and you feel that it is not just by some statistics or in game equipment that your squad grows, but also by you as the commander. There is probalby just one detail I would change - I would appreciate the possibility to alter the path of an officer between the two points. However one quickly learns to live with the limitation and rather plan carefully the steps to avoid the necessity of retracing the path. I would recommend this game at full price, I have no doubts that the authors deserve it for the quality and amount of content (multiple campaigns, a lot of (30+) single missions, generated missions and editor).
