Things I loved about this game: - As an artist I was in awe of the art style and animations. It made the atmosphere unique and helped the story come alive with its brilliant renders and colors. - The characters. I was especially impressed with how Jenny, the protagonist was written. She had humor, was relatable in her reactions and was an interesting character from the beggining. It made me root for her throughout the whole game. - The humor. Witty, not in your face, clever placing in the dialogues and in the details of the game. - The story. If you love crime novels and detective stories, you will enjoy this ride. The revelations and twists are unexpected and refreshing, I was engaged through the whole story. - Bonus: the creative way of how Jenny solves her "cases". It was a fun and refreshing mechanic and also worked as a prop to implement her personality. Things I didn't like: - The lack of mouse support. You are left to use your keyboard to move around and interact with objects, even if it was more logical to use a mouse. It felt unnatural and I hope they will improve this part of the game. - The lack of voice acting. I wasn't bothered by this, but some might find it a turn off. The writing does make up for it though. - This is just part 1!! I'm looking forward to what is next. Overall a very pleasant experience for 15-16 hours of gameplay. I would recommend for everyone who likes detective stories and is looking for a nice way to spend the evenings.
