Although this game hits a few niches (pixel graphics, pop culture nostalgia) it's not the greatest action game. It's more for adventure enthusiats, especialy if its niche areas are up your alley. One of the main draws of this game are it's 80's pop culture references. It does some things great (sound track is a standout) but overall you can tell this is more an interpretation on that nostalgia than nostalgia itself. It seems to be written by people who experienced the 80s and America through movies rather than actually having been through them themselves. Still, it's worth a play through. Totally. SPOILERS?: I think most of where it misses is the setting is clearly the Britishisms that popup here and there. No American kid ever said "crumbs and crisps", there is no such thing as a "batters mound." Or the fact that Michael Jackson was not referred to as "The King of Pop" in 1986. I won't say little details such as these ruin the experience, but they sure don't help maintain it.
