Okay, so besides The Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Heroes of Might and Magic, this is the best game I have ever played. So let's get one thing straight, I don't play that many games. A few a year if I am lucky. But in my 37 years, this is right up there. Why is it up there? I loved the mystery that surrounded it all. I loved trying to figure out what happened. The suspense that literally anything I saw and touched could be an alien made me tread carefully. It was a game I could take slowly, at my own pace, and the realism for me was real. I also liked how I had to figure out how to do things and that there were multiple ways of doing it. Honestly, it's just a great game. I hesitantly picked it up for $9 on the PS4. I'd seen it around but no one really talked about it. I am so happy I picked it up. It has been one of the best games I've ever played.
Everyone raves about Heroes of Might and Magic 3, but more should be said about HoMM2. It was a real step up from HoMM1 and I loved playing it as a kid. I didn't quite understand all the moving parts as a kid, but it was a wonderful game then and still now. The music and game itself take me a fantasy world with a nostalgia hit. It is truly an amazing game.
