Edna & Harvey: The Breakout

OK

It was just all right. Most of the puzzles were good but some were very unintuitive and even after looking at a walkthrough I said "Really? How does that even make sense?" When you don't understand a puzzle even when you have help... that's a problem. The characters are not very likable and for being lighthearted fun the game gets really dark near the end. And the ending itself is terrible. After all those hours this is my reward? Booooooo!

A New Beginning: Final Cut

Nothing to see here

The interface is awkward and slow. The animations are often jerky and just feel off - seems like it hiccups like when you try and play a graphically intense game on a slow computer. Well my pc is fast and this game should not come anywhere near to bogging it down. The comic book animations are repetitive and annoying. The characters are unlikable. And I get enough preaching about mankind destroying the planet from the media. I don't need it in the games I play. I like post apocalyptic storylines but in the first 10 minutes you hear about the evil energy company, too much trash, over fishing of the seas, blackened skies, and global warming. Couldn't take the propaganda!

Day of the Tentacle Remastered

Even better than the fantastic original

I played this with my brother when I was a teenager. I was immediately taken in by the graphics and fun story line. It became one of my favorite adventure games. I later bought a cd copy at a thrift store and played it together with my young son - we enjoyed playing it together and the added voices on the cd version made it all the better. Now many years later we were super excited at the announcement of this remastered version. And although we finished the game quickly (kinds helps a little when you've played through the game several times) we thoroughly enjoyed it. Fun to flip back and forth between old and new graphics, and the audio update was very well done. Whether you've played this before or not this is definitely one to buy. A true classic brought back to life.

Dust: An Elysian Tail

A Real Gem

I got this on a whim and didn't expect much. I was quickly drawn in by the beautiful scenes, smooth animation, and great story. I looked forward to it each night when I got home from work and played until late - every day until I had finished it. I love everything about the game. I keep watching and hoping for a sequel...

Twinsen's Little Big Adventure 2 Classic

Excellent game

This has been a family favorite since it first came out. It's got an interesting world, fun characters, great music, problem solving, a lot of action, and a good story to follow as you discover new areas. It's been 25 years but still fun to go back and play.
