Maybe Homecoming was not the perfect update for the game, but CDPR believes on the project and with the recent update (mulligans) the game becomes a lot more enjoyable. Also this game is free and the in-game rewards are very generous. If you search a free game and don't like the playstyle from Hearthstone or Artifact, then Gwent is worth a try.
