I've started it here after finishing it twice on the PS. I'm not giving 5 stars because of perfection, but rather for an exceptionally good interpretation and execution of survival horror. Mind you, this and the following is an opinion. The story is fanastic and original, although very difficult to grasp at first. I'd say you fully unterstand what's happening when paying close attention to what's said and seen, reading everything you find and start a 2nd playthrough with the gathered knowledge and observations. Additionally, the DLC's reveal a lot aswell, don't play them first. Replaying the game is additionally somewhat encouraged by the opportunity to unlock more skills and weapons, for example to face a higher difficuly. Especially for being 10 years old, it graphically still looks stunning and the voice acting is decent for the most part. I haven't encountered bugs or crashes so far, being in chapter 4 or 5 with this version. Yes it's a console port and you will notice that while playing. In my experience (and as said i've played it on console) it is far better than often decribed in reviews. Some stuff, like aiming with the mouse obviously, is even easier this way and you'll be thankful for every bullet or bolt you don't waste with controller aim. Some are complaining about the boss encounters. For the most part (i'd say everything up the the endgame) they are original and fun, if you like a challenge where not only bullets count but occationally your brain aswell. And the only real nasty boss foe who can one-hit you, is in most encounters totally optional to defeat or even fight. Stealth is a big thing in this game, but optional. What's, especially later in the game, not always optional is shooting you way through. Whatever you like, stealth or guns blazing, you'll definitely find both. Also, this version comes with the pre-order bonus, which are some neat little extras to help you out a little bit when facing this nightmare-ish journey.
