There are issues with the mouse usually being locked over the game screen in and out of the menus, like when you have your guns out, its very distracting and also seems to slow aiming down. Sometimes the mouse doesnt appear in game at all, even in the menus especially in the map where you need to be able to see the mouse to set waypoints. Ihad some weird control issues like I would be hammering the crouch button to stand up and nothing is happening for a couple seconds. I had an issue where the game is "Loading" but it also says "press space to skip" and if I dont do anything it wont load, but if i press space right away the game starts. This game has some weird issues right now and needs patching for sure. I would have posted this in the forum but I can not find the forum for it, so instead I wrote this review.
I didnt enjoy it at all. Its very clunky and there are sections where you have to swing with a whip and I tend to die multiple times before getting past it. The very first level where you have to run from the town took me at least 10 attempts before I got past the swinging part.
So far the story is kinda interesting but the whole joy mechanic really irks me. I mean when you start "coming down" from the drug, all of the NPCs immediately know and become hostile, attacking you on sight. The whole town seems to come down on you and its just not fun when this happens. Its a bit disappointing but I am glad I bought it back before they jacked the price up to $60 for no discernable reason.
I think I beat it but I am not sure. I made it to Instanbul and then nothing happened. I can only go back the way I came! I got a few hours of gameplay out of this but most of it was frustrating. Money is hard to come by and your car is constantly needing maintenence, you have to pay to stay in a hotel every night and they get more and more expensive over time. The RNG usually makes sure you have little to no money so a lot of the time I was driving with flat tires and completely broken parts. In my opinion this wasnt worth a purchase. I got more frustration than enjoyment out of this game.
