This game is loads of fun! It's great to simply run around slashing everyone and everything in site (I especially liked accidently finding the arc of the covenent after slashing a load of boxes). Downsides, the game play is a bit repetative, you can basically get by with bashing the attack button and dancing around the enemy, and if you come up against a boss just use 'blood rage' to slow down time before doing the above. Of course, this can actually be an advantage if you're not really looking for too much brain work while playing :) The heroine is good, but the story seemed a bit disjointed and always seemed to be building towards something that didn't materialise, but maybe the second one will add a bit more detail to the character and her role.
Fiendishly difficult and unforgiving, a real treat for anyone who loves the old style no 'quick-save' hack and slash platform games. Every death is frustrating, but like a good warrior you can't help but get up and carry on.
