It's fun, albeit challenging

Not much to say beyond that, worth a play and the investment for sure!

Enter the Gungeon

Shal Not Be Infringed

I originally bought this on Steam on the sole premise that I found out this game had the Quad Laser from Aqua Teen Hunger Force in it and I thought it would be hilarious to fire that weapon in a videogame (and it was). I also had never played a roguelike/lite before, and it turns out I picked a particularly hard one to start with. I have since platinumed this game twice on Steam, so its safe to say I'm a fan. Once it clicks, it's a ton of fun but MAN there's a lot to unlock and explore on your own - I had to cave and check the Wiki frequently. Thankfully you can eventually get to a point where your characeter is so OP that some runs will become a breeze, but you definitely have to earn it. Give it a try, be patient, master the dodge rolls.

Dome Keeper

Drill, Baby, Drill!

Chill or challengng when it wants to be, this game is a nice quasi-meditative digging rougelite... until the monsters come. Then it gets tense. Still a lot of fun either way though.

Atomicrops

Stardew Valley meets Enter the Gungeon

Far more addicting than it has any right to be. I will echo the sentiment of others that at times the game can feel like a grind - Cornacopeias should be a bit eaiser to amass than they are, mainly because one full year in the game takes an hour and some change to run through. I still love it though.
