The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

Horrible rpg, however.....

++++++ Great story ++++++ Good characters ++++++ Good writing ++++ Great ost ++ A lot of good looking weapons and armors --------- Voiced pc --------- Tons of auto dialogue --------- Very few and very limiting dialogue options for anything even close to an rpg --------- We have pretty much no control over geralt outside of combat --------- Tons of cutscenes where geralt does or says tons of things we have no control over -- The third person view is horrible imo -- The clumsy movement of the pc is horrible imo ---- A lot of stupid looking monsters ---- Horribly grindy boring combat -------- Geralt is a complete idiot a lot of the time This is a good interactive movie imo, but they marketed it as an rpg, and as an rpg it's so bad that even world of tanks is a better rpg :D

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Good interactive movie!

+ Good characters + Decent writing + Good graphics + Great ost + Decent looking weapons and armors + decent story - Voiced pc - Tons of auto dialogue - Tons of cutscenes where geralt does or says a lot of things we have no control over - We have pretty much no control over the pc outside of combat - Bad dialogue system for anything other than an interactive movie - The 3rd person view is horrible - The clumsy movement of the pc is horrible - A lot of stupid looking monsters - Horribly grindy combat - We can steel whatever we want to right infront of people and they don't care - We can combat roll and eat an apple to recover health for some reason - Geralt is a complete idiot a lot of the time This is a good interactive movie imo, but they marketed this as an rpg, and compared to an actual rpg this game is complete garbage imo, i would actually say that world of tanks is a far better rpg than tw3 is.

Loooong unskippable intro cutscene :/

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition Deluxe

The last good bethesda game.

++ Good graphics for the time, ++++ Good mod support. ++++++++ Silent protagonist. ++++ Good side content. ++++++ The side content can be done both before and after the main quest. ++++ Good music. ++++++ The developer console. ++++ Pretty basic and goos dialogue system, usually the dialogue system just let's us ask about the quest and ask for directions etc, and it does so in such a basic way that we can just imagine we say whatever we want to, and that is one of the best ways to allow the player to role playimo, although the extremely basic dialogue system in morrowind is by far the best dialogue system i have ever seen, so i won't give this dialogue system too much praise. ------ The game punishes you for leveling up, at level 1 the combat is ok, but at level 10+ you have to hack and slash for 5 bloody minutes to kill most enemies. ------ Some times the dialogue options force us to be a nice guy or a complete git :/ And that makes role playing impossible imo, luckily it doesn't happen very often though. ---- You can only have one companion at a time for some reason. ---- No backpacks or saddlebags for us to put all our loot in, i guess we just put everything in our back pocket or something :/ ---- No crossbows. -- This isn't a true rpg imo, still much better than most current "RPG*s" though. This is still a decent game imo, but the combat is very boring though, and the game doesn't really give us many choices. It's usually just 1 or 2 choices sadly, usually the choices make sense though.

Dragon Age™: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Best game i ever played :)

+ The story is amazing. + We have a silent protagonist, this is imo a must for a real rpg. + The companions are great and very well written. + The main quest is well structured and very well written. + The vast majority of the side quests are very good. + The companion quests are very good. + The different origins are amazing and they really help me immerse myself in the world. + The ui is decent for the time period. + The dialogue system is pretty good, although i wish there were more basic/vague dialogue options like yes and no and maybe later etc, if the game had those dialogue options i could actually call this a real true rpg, instead of just an interactive book with an amazing story and great characters. + The voice acting is amazing in this game. + We can roleplay a lot more in this game than in most other RPG*s out there. + The music is amazing. + The setting is amazing. + The combat is pretty good for the time. + We can do a lot of shady things in this game. + There are a lot of hard morally grey choices in this game. + Decent mod support. + Good dlc. + Awakening is a very good expansion imo. - We can only have a 4 man party in this game, i wish we could have a 6 man party like we could in bg/iwd. - We can't make our own custom adventurers/companions like we could in bg/iwd. - The crossbows are bugged and don't scale with dex or str like they should, and because this is an ea and bioware game they never fixed it :/ - Most of the armors and weapons look dumb. - Compared to bg/iwd/nwn the amount of skills has gone down a bit :/ This is the best game i have ever played, i have over 300 hours logged across steam and gog and the physical game i bought way back in 2010.
