Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition

Too many crashes, too much waiting

I started the game up. It crashed I started the game up in compatibility mode It crashed I started the game up in compatibility mode and waited for the splash screen to finish before pushing a button it crashed I started the game up in compatibility mode, waited for the splash screen to finish loading and waited for the menu to finish loading It didn't crash. I clicked an option I waited I clicked the next option I waited I finally got into the tutorial The tutorial was bad I quit I found it faster to use the task manager to shut the game down, rather than wait for the menu to finish loading again. This entire experience took me about 20 minutes. I may give it another try, but I'm unlikely to recommend it to anyone, even if it works.

Kerbal Space Program: Making History

Initially 'meh', now good.

Initially, I thought this expansion was ok, it adds missions, which I'm not really interested in and a few parts. It turns out that the parts that it adds are parts that I use to design so many rockets. There are engine plates, that let you have between 1 and 9 smaller engines attached to a much larger tank. There are adapters that allow conversion from one size of tank to another, but they're filled with fuel. There are more ways to protect your vulnerable parts, such as larger fairings and small, explosive bays. There are also more structural parts, but I don't tend to use those and re-entry modules which comes with ablator, but no control wheel. I can't recommend this at full price, there are mods that do many things that I'm happy with, but I do recommend it in a sale with a good discount
