I love the interesting complexities of this game and the tuneable difficulty. I can chill out and make a ridiculously efficient village or I can have a challenge if I want to.
This scratches every possible itch to keep things challenging. I absolutely love everything about 4x and management games except for how long they run and the increasingly massive total number of moving parts as time goes on. If you want to get a fully satisfying run in a couple hours with dynamic challenges due to its roguelike nature, then this is absolutely your game.
