Cant get to run on my Windows 8.1 based system, tried everything to get it to run, first gog game I have purchased that does not run. Several other people have the same issue according to the forums. Bewarned!
I must have been playing a completely different game to the other reviewers, I found this game to be absolutely terrifying, a real work of genius, art and horror! Yes they removed the need to hunt continuously for candles, fantastic, the most frustrating and annoying aspect of Amnesia has been removed! I have not been so gripped by a games atmosphere in years! Buy!
A wonderful world to explore and this port worked wonderfully for me without a hitch. I am however a little confused why achievements were not included in the GOG version, seeing as an important game clue/puzzle is included in them! I feel a tiny bit cheated by that.
