So, a while back we had these awesome things called expansion packs. See, folks, it was like this: you'd play the hell out of a game, get to know every nook-and-cranny of the game and its interface, all of its strengths and weaknesses, AND THEN AN EXPANSION PACK WOULD COME INTO YOUR LIFE FOR HALF THE PRICE OF THE GAME BUT ADD TONS OF NEW CONTENT AND IT WAS LIKE CHRISTMA-HANU-QUANZA ALL UP IN YO' FACE! That's Dragonfall. It's not just an extra campaign, it's a massive overhaul and improvement on the original game. Everything feels snappier, the UI, the controls, the loading times. Also, if you like to get all crazy with the touchy windows 8 tablet thingies, this game has integrated touch controls - WHICH IS AMAZING! Also, and I think this must be stressed over everything else, Hairbrained Schemes put major upgrade points into their character development tree; the result: complex, humorous characters that take about 3 minutes to care about. TL;DR - This is not DLC, it's an expansion pack, just like the old days. Think more Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction rather than Borderlands: The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned.
