No Man's Sky

Repetitive, repetitive, repetitive

Point number 1, it is blandly repetitive. Point 2, how are we expected to explore without so much as a map, marker or flags? You get to so many save points to 'claim' them but to what end? You'd never know how much of a planet you actually managed to claim because there is no way to tell. Point 3, all ships behave the same IF you can control them properly. Bug in the release version pushes your ship from the surface straight into space when you launch. Ship prices are whacked, hundreds of thousands for the first 2-3 types then boom, 15 million for the next rung on the ladder. Point 4, so 500 of Platinum, Gold, Emeril and such stacks, but 2 Atlas Chupachups don't? But hey, this is probably the most challenging part of the entire game so credit where credit's due. Point 5 (last one, I promise), you know that feeling when you wake up late on a lazy Sunday, you haven't done your groceries and there's nothing in the kitchen for breakfast? That's about the intensity of the survival aspect of this game. Now there's nothing wrong with that feeling once you're 6 days into the game with a power suit and an alien blaster, but not an hour after you start. I'm playing this game on a jalopy held together by strap cables and cooled by my tears of regret, so I got no comments on performance. That all being said, it's a heck of a canvas to build on. So fingers crossed Sean & Co have plans to release (free) DLCs to fix these issues up.
