My experience with this game became more and more exhausting as I progressed through the main story. Nothing in Cyberpunk 2077's open world works as the game is extremely buggy. They even pulled the game from the PS Store! I'm not diving deep into this but instead I'll focus on the REAL problems this game has. First off, I can't seem to understand the RPG elements of this game. People keep telling me this is exactly like the Witcher 3, but it's really not. Every piece of gear you pick off the ground is EASILY better than the ones you're currently equipping. Even legendary items you get from quests can feel underpowered compared to what your enemies are carying, and that's with all upgrades applied. The crafting, by the way, is not that good, materials are REALLY hard to find especially legendary ones, and there's no mastercrafting vendors or specialised craftsmen which you can pay to upgrade items Second, the shooting is really bland and uninspired. I liked some gadgets like the mantis blades or the hacking but the guns themselves are really weak, enemies are hard to take down even at later levels and the AI is broken beyond comprehension (search for police AI on youtube, it's ridiculous). For a game that expects you to drive alot, cars are really bad. They oversteer and understeer at the same time! I don't know how they can fix this... To finish off, I don't know how an RPG can mess up dialogue and choice so much. There's no real meaning to your choices like there was in the Witcher series. The characters only react IMMEDIATELY and not hours later as they were in Witcher, your decisions at the beginning of the story barely matter towards the end, it's clear that CDPR's priorities weren't here. I really like this game's story and sidequests surrounding story characters, I really do. But the city is boring, the open world is plain bad, and the game is a buggy mess. I really hope they focus on fixing them if they want people to still trust them after this fiasco.
