This game is not horror in the same vein as Dead Space and Resident Evil where you can defend yourself with a gun or at least a knife . Rather you are defenseless and the only advice is to run away into the dark from the monsters than try to fight. However the darkness is a double edged sword, it hides you from the monsters but at the same time it makes you more insane. This is a game that is best played with the lights off and headphones on. The atmosphere is incredible, as is the music which adds to an already fearful adventure.
