I had to go into the games install location and copy the game.gog file to another location, change the new game.gog file's extension to .iso, and then manually mount it to a disk drive in windows, then open the application "findredguard" to get access to the games install settings. I had to turn down all of the graphics settings, including glide, 3dfx texture scale, and the resolution down to their minimum values. I then opened nglide_config configuration in the install location, set all of the values to "by app (default)", set the aspect ratio to 4:3, turned off vertical synchronization, and change the gamma correction to 1.0 (default). It took a lot of work, but the game becomes playable after all of this and a very enjoyable experience. The only problem is the poor graphics quality.
