I never like Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 since I prefer turn based RPGs. The combat is improved over Divinity 2 and the story blows it out of the water. I am approaching 70 hours of game play soon. I usually get bored of a game before this amount of time but here I am looking forward for more! The graphics are top notch and the game runs stable. I had a few glitches but never a hard crash. For a game of this scope, it's practically bug free. The story line has so many branches that you can watch Twitch streamers experiencing the game with completely different companions and in turn different side quests. I also like that this is not a game made for children. No nude patch required 👍 This is a master piece. A must buy if you enjoy these games.
This games plays and feels just like the kind of games I used to play as a kind, EXACTLY like them! It comes with all the flaws of games from the 80. You walk around a corner and the AI will see you as soon as 1 pixel intersects with the AI's vision cone. So they know exactly where you are while you are still looking for the guy shooting at you. The enemy is also properly camouflaged and really hard to see but this is supposed to be a game and not a simulation. So you tend to get shot before you even know where most of the enemies are. Feel free to pirate ONE copy because I will not be playing the game I purchased. Playing this game is a horrible experience because the devs did not learn a single lesson from past games.
