Game has a whole 1970's sci-fi feel to it, Not just Alien, but Outlands, The Black Hole and a few more I don't remember. It's a pretty cool base building rougelike/rougelite , I personally like rougelikes and this one has a personality of it's own. I recomend this game if you like basebuilding, crew management, exploration and rougelikes.

I played 58 hours of this game, I had never played it before I bought it on GoG. Once you realize you can turn the speed down in the options menu, the game is playable and you can play it at your own pace. I really enjoyed the time I spent in this game, and because the rules of the game change map to map, the gameplay never really gets stale.
I enjoyed this game a lot, the 5 star reviews it recieved are well earned. The music dosn't really fit it, but that can be turned off. and doesn't affect gameplay. The automatic pilot and time accelration/deceration works better than expected. You can tell, the developers that made this game loved the genre, and wanted to provide the best experence for the player.

I played Eye of the beholder when it came out, had gotten the demo off of a shareware cd that came with another game I bought at the time. I was 11 or 12 at the time, I am having a blast playing through them again. These games are great, some of the best RPG's ever made.
