I keep bouncing off this, I don't feel the love. I've tried several times.
It's one of those "I'll just have another try" games and it has kept me focused for hours. "If at first you don't succeed try and try again" I've played other games in the same genre but none have been as consistantly compelling. Once you get the hang of the way the cards can be used you'll start to make some progress. Oh yes, it runs on Linux too!
I've had this for some time now after seeing a review of it in RPG when it was free and received an upgrade. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2014/08/14/freeware-garden-sanctuaryrpg/ I play it on and off in short sessions once or twice a week. The humour is wonderful.
