I remember being super disappointed with this game with the great X-Wing series expectations. This game is not a Space Sim, it is just an arcade shooter with no realism. Kid stuff compared to the proper X-Wing series. This was the prelude to a bunch of games in the same vein, while the Space Sim, was considered dead with no more Wing Commander or X-Wing games. And was the beginning of the end of the great run of Star Wars games by Lucasarts. Hopefully with the late resurgence of the genre with Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen, No Man Sky and hopefully with the X-Wing series doing well on GOG, this will inspire Disney/EA to produce a new real Star Wars space sim following the X-Wing series, and who know set on the new era starting with Episode VII.
