This was my 'original' RPG. Sure, I played Akalabeth, Ultima 1, and other RPGs during this time, but this was the one that provided me the most enjoyment. I'm now about half way through BT1 again in the remastered, and I have to say, I love the remaster. Is it without issue? No, it's still technically in 'beta', and they're fixing things rapidly, so I won't lower my rating. Does it hold up to the original, and my memories? Absolutely! I never in my dreams thought I'd be able to play this game again in any other way than with emulators. I would say my largest issue is that the easier scaling makes things just a little too easy (in some ways), but I also won't lower my rating for this, as I'll wait for the 'legacy' mode to be released, and then I'll set the things back to scale.
