I was driven to try this simply due to my love of Farcry 3 and everything that followed. I have really enjoyed it; it reminds me of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. It's got a classic cheesy plot with some deliciously bad acting. Only had to drop a star because there are a few bugs, mainly around being trapped in collision in such a way that you have to restart.
I really wanted to like this game, but the controls are literally agony. An annoying peer-over-the-shoulder view of your dude and a control system that will remind you of that night when you drank one and a half bottles of merlot. It's like you are flaying your weapon around in a bucket of honey whilst being attacked on all sides by zombie-ninjas. Damn it I could kick their ass if my character hadn't swallowed half a bottle of valium. Not to mention the occasional random crash. 4.5 is a massive overrating.
