Quest for Glory 1-5

My First Computer Game Series

In 1989, my dad purchased our first computer, an IBM PS/2 Model 25. He also purchased a brand new game, "Hero's Quest: So You Want To Be A Hero?" with it. I immediately fell in love with the game. It was funny, referenced a lot of the nerdy movies I was watching with my dad at the time, and also had n awesome level of interactivity. As the series progressed (and changed names thanks to Milton-Bradley) I ended up getting each new iteration, and found that they managed to keep making the series better -- Quest for Glory IV is still one of my all-time-favorites, with John Rhys Davies' narration being a major highlight. Quest for Glory V didn't hold up to expectations (it was too drastic a change from the previous games), but as it stands, the first four games are more than worth the $9.99 GOG.com is asking for them, and QfGV is a nice bonus, and even better if you can find a way to enjoy it.
