I see what they're trying to do with this game.. but they really missed the mark. I gave it my best and when I got to the damn near end of the game.. all a sudden they wanted me to go on some wild goose chase for an uncertain amount of some resource. They really wanted to do a survivial horror thing with this game which is wonderful but they botched it.
A real step up from emulation. Save states were a great feature to emulation but you can't beat the polish on this port.
Brilliant game from the best era of gaming. We'll never see a era like 360/ps3 era. This game and it's sequel are just magnificent.
