I've always wanted to get into the Fallout series (especially New Vegas), I have a ton of hours in the Steam versions of these games but I got tired of the constant micro-stuttering, the glitching, the crashing and the tons of issues that plague these games on Steam. I decided to read reviews and everyone said to just get it on GOG instead since it's patched to work on W10 and boy yes it is. I get constant smooth 60fps now with virtually zero stutters (I still downloaded the stutter remover mod but it actually works now on this version of the game), not only that but mouse movement isn't as janky either, I was literally using a controller on the Steam version because of how broken mouse input was and most importantly, no Games for Windows Live garbage. You're doing yourself a disservice by playing the Steam version of Fallout 3, I can't speak on New Vegas since I haven't bought it on here yet but the Steam version of that game is pretty broken as well so I'm sure that one works better here too. Now it's time to actually enjoy a working and stable version of this masterpiece and I can't wait to try out New Vegas on GOG once it goes on sale.
