LEGO® The Lord of the Rings™

I don't get it

So people who are grownups like this? I watched youtube and grown humans reviewed this and said it is a good game. So I bought it... So I tried playing it.. Hey, look, if you are 5 yo go for it man, you will have a blast. If you are 3 yo even better. But if you already turned 6, there's nothing for you to see, move along please.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Good game, But..

1: The camera movement makes me physically ill. After playing for 30 mins I have to stop, it makes me sick I want to throw up. It is sooo shaky. 2: Also, people compared the graphics to Red Dead Redemption 2. How dare you?!? This is closer to Knights of The Old Republic if anything. Graphic wise it's ok. Nothing impressive, just enough to do the job. 3: combat is not easy at first, but the more you practice the more you realize it's just not easy and you are screwed. If you see 3 opponents, run, Forest, run. 4: Using a bow will kill you before it scratches anything else. 5: You will get encumbered if you dare lift any item 6: It's easier to pickpocket people in real life in broad day light in the middle of the street than in the game. 7: To dig, you need a spade. A spade weights 4. you can carry max of 5. Now choose, a spade, or a sword? It's like having 4GB ram for a Windows laptop. yes, you can technically get away with it, but sacrifices will be made. 8: Map: this man gives quests You: hello man, can I have a quest? Man: get the f--k out of here! 9: Riding a horse is like eating a tuna sandwich on a NASA g-force training device, you will throw up. so yeah, overall not a bad game, story is ok, characters are cool, the rest is just a bit annoying

Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Imperial Edition Bundle

Frustrating

I started the game, you can't build your team. You build one character and get wiped. You meet people along the way and get wiped with them. So like, I built a Wizard. you start the game you are beyond weak. Basically, you can't kill a fly. Seriously, a fly would butcher a team of 10 characters in this game. You meet a bard, then a barbarian who is strong hitting but with 15 HP she's not long for this world. So while you hit for 1-10 dmg. Any enemy in this game hits 18-20 dmg. While you hit 3 times a year. Every enemy hits 80%. You have magic missles that do 1-6 dmg. They have 2 archers shooting twice doing 7-15 each shot. I tried. I really tried. Why can't I build my team? So at some point in the game I have the following characters: Wizard, Bard, Cleric, Wizard, Wizard/Fighter, Barbarian, Paladin(?) 5 spell casters. What am I going to do with 5 porcelain spell casters? One archer kills my entire party in 2 turns. There are 3 archers 2 wizards and a boss who summons a wolf every turn. I'm throwing mud at them. My barbarian is getting gangbanged my paladin/fighter/shield-maden is swatting at flies, and 5 spell casters together can't start a fire with matches. You encounter a pig? You are dead. You encounter a spider? You are dead. You want to rest? Oh yeah the quests are on timers. Rest away, enjoy that. Just frustrating. You can't have fun on a timer. I want to explore, grind, level up, come back stronger. But I feel like I can't. It doesn't recommand a level for the quests, so you don't know if you are ready to go do a certain quest or you need to grind more. But, a blind, one legged bunny can kill 30 adventurers, so grind where? Maybe you can step on ants somewhere until you lvl up. Also, the camera doesn't pan around. So if you go under trees, you can't see. This game is annoying as hell.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister

An average game

Oh man, where do I start? People say "It's an Indie game, don't expect AAA experience". Well, but I still expect it to be good, right? So let's begin: Plot: Boring, basic. There are lame monsters, kill them save the day. Poor writing, horrible cringy voice acting. I'm sorry, I can't actually call it acting. It's voice dubbing? Is it called dubbing in English? Some people recorded themselves reading the lines. Some of those people are souless accountants or something, really. Like, an accounting firm was responsible for the voice acting. Replayability: If god emailed me today, told me he decided to make me immortal. I wouldn't play this again during the eternity I have. I saw reviews where people say it has replayability. I mean, yes, you can start a new game every time after you finish. You can also get your teeth cleaned 5 times a week. Why would you though? Crafting: You can craft better items in your kitchen at home. Items: You need to become best friends with factions if you want to buy stuff from them. Then you can get yourself a dagger whaaaaaa.. a shiny dagger. Best item you'll own is like a +2 whatever weapon you use. But you can craft is, so.. nothing to buy. Final boss? There's a boss fight. And it is the last boss fight. So I guess the definition would be final boss fight. Spoiler alert if you care: You get help. A lot of help. Don't worry too much about the final boss. By the way back to dubbing. Final boss, music playing in background, and your characters are bored. The characters in this game are bored from the game. True AI achieved! Combat: Combat is fun. Not fully flashed out, but fun. It's the saving grace for the game since the rest is like doing homework on vacation. Why did I finish the game you ask? I had nothing else to play. It's like watching a bland movie on TV and there's nothing else on, so you're like, whatever, I'll watch it. But I would wait for it to be on sale to watch it lol. Do you have nothing else going on? Buy it.

The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos

Good game on one condition...

The game is great on one condition: You spend all your points in Agility. Don't even bother with anything else. If i remember currectly, it determines your chance to hit AND dodge. So why wouldn't you want all your shots to hit and all the AI shots to miss? If you try any other build, you are in for a brutal experience, and I mean you will be in a room with 60 enemies and you will miss 9/10 and get hit 11/10. Stand together as a group? You're screwed, split to avoid AOE? You're screwed. Put the wizard in front? Back? Middle? Doesn't matter, you will be screwed either way. And then, you decide to heed my advice. You go to the bartender and buy a potion to let you re-level your heroes. You put EVERYTHING into Agility. And now, what do you know, the AI is missing everything and you are hitting always. Anyway.. i don't remember seeing bugs, Graphics are nice, I wish there were more secrets and missions, it is pretty linear. Funny, depends on the humor you enjoy. Battles are fun if you build currectly, as I mentioned. It is a fun game, don't expect Divinity Original Sin or anything, don't get carried away. Keep your expectations in the right place and you'll be fine. I have it on Steam, in case it says I don't own the game :)

No Man's Sky

Good game

I'm sorry, but the game is good. Yes, I am aware of the hate this game deserves in theory, and that they shipped a broken game and lied about it and all. Bottom line though, the game is good as it is now. some fps drops here and there but no major issues, not game breaking issues. A LOT of content. Don't pay $60 though, that's just wrong.

Wasteland 3

Great game

Don't give this game 1/5 if it is not running on your system. How is it fair? What does it have to do with me, if this game runs on my system? Why do people still use Win 7? That's the real question. Didn't Microsoft drop support for that 6 years ish ago? Here's another riddle, why don't people read the system requirements before they buy the game? oh well.. Let's address the game then: Only issue I faced so far is when I am in a crowded place, if I am hitting Shift to highlight objects, it will stutter. And my computer is no punk. But that's it. The bad: LOADING SCREENS!!!!! Bring a book with you, so you don't lose your mind. You can get a Phd while waiting for the screens to load. The good: 1. Shared inventory with no weight limit. 2. If one character has a skill, you will be able to use it in conversation and bartering, even if they are not the character doing the talking. ALL GAMES SHOULD DO THIS (I'm talking to you DOS2). I think in Divinity Original Sin 2, 80% of the time I played, was inventory management and bartering only with the certified character. Inventory management and bartering here is a breeze. 3. A lot of cool skills and weapons. I am a few hours in and already planning my next playthough. The gameplay is fun. 4. Voice acting on some of these NPCs is great. For an NPC to make me laugh after all these years I'm playing games, not easy. Anyway, I'm working from home, and there's a boring meeting, so I decided to review the game. It is not a perfect game, but neither was Wasteland 2. It is fun to play, that's what I know. I gave it a 5/5 to offset the, what I think, is unjust 1/5s it got for not loading on win7. But otherwise, it's a 4/5. So you know.. If you came all this way to see if a random stranger on the internet thinks you shuold buy it, then buy it. Otherwise, just buy it.

UnderRail

Are you guys kidding?

I read reviews here comparing this to Fallout 1+2. How dare you? Comparing this to Fallout, is like comparing a sock to a million dollars. What is everybody on about? The combat here is laaaame, the graphics are bad, you don't get the satisfaction of shooting someone. Its just bland. There's the slightest arm movement and some number over bad guy's head. It's like this game is from 20 years ago. Wait, isn't Fallout 1 from like 20 years ago? oh, there you go! This game is just like Fallout 1! I mean, if you guys enjoy the game, good for you, I'm happy for you. But let's say go to YouTube, watch a gameplay before you buy. I don't know, I'm a few hours in and it's so boring I'd rather watch Gossip Girl with my wife. No, no, I take it back, that show is the worst.

Streets of Rogue

Great game

One of those games where even though you suck at it you still love it. I don't mind that I keep getting killed around level 6. Because I love playing it over and over. Very addictive, so if you are one of those people, don't get it (but really, get it).

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

Almost perfect game

I'm not one for long reviews, so here goes: This game is great, buy it. There's not much to say here, it's just great. Why 4 starts and not 5? The inventory system is annoying. So if you have one character that has 5 barter (so that character is the one you should use when selling things), you now have to move all the equipment to that character. If you like loot and pick up everything in order to sell it, it should take you around 30 years. If not then I guess it could be done in 5 years so that's nice. Why can't the characters share skills? If I have a character with 5 barter, whatever, let me sell my shit with whoever is carying said shit. Why torture me? They have it for other skills (lucky charm and I think lore as well) so why stop there? Personally, I never understood why all characters can't share one big inventory and why put in encumbered mode. I never had fun with encumber mode, but what do I know? I'm just a goddamn genius. What was I even saying? Oh yeah, great game. Buy it.
