Sunless Sea

Not my cup of eldritch tea

The gameplay just felt... annoying. The combat feels tedious and annoying, the controls are uninspired, and feel incredibly slow and unresponsive. The fuel and other survival mechanics, which I thought would be interesting, just ended up making the game feel claustrophobic, since venturing anywhere meant you might not make it back before you ran out of fuel, etc. etc. Maybe this game just wasn't for me. Honestly, I loved the idea, but really boring combat, and mechanics that actually punish exploration (sparse and expensive fuel, food, etc.) made me dislike it. If you want to give it a try, at least wait for a sale imo.

Into the Breach

Not FTL2, but still a DAMN good game

Very solid strategy game. Despite being the same devs, this feels nothing like FTL, but not at all in a bad way. Where FTL had crazy RNG that left you sometimes shit up a creek with no hope because a bad roll of the dice, Into the Breach feels very carefully crafted and designed so that when you lose, you know it's your fault. Every time I lost or died, I felt like I could see the moves I should have made and that my loss was because I had approached the level wrong, not because the game screwed me over. This has the effect of making it feel a little more puzzle and less straight up strategy, because RNG doesn't really fuck you over, but also doesn't help you either. No random Mantis joining your crew, no unexpected event that gives you a big pay-off. Just your wits and brains vs. the carefully crafted challenging levels and AI. If you like hard strategy/puzzle games, highly recommend. Honestly, these guys made FTL--one of the best indi-titles ever--give it a go even if you aren't sure, you probably won't be disappointed. They are damn good developers.

Zombie Night Terror

Loving Crafted

A very fun game. Lovingly crafted, and very creative. At times it reminds me of the old scool lemmings games in how you control and manage your zombies (changing them at appropriate times to suit the level), but has a lot more depth/options and ways to beat or solve each level most of the time in comparison to lemmings. The game also strikes a good balance of grim dark horrifying pixel art visuals with silly incredibly transparent horror parodies and humor. Overall, I laughed at the humor, and was thoroughly entertained by the gameplay. Even if you don't pay full price, at least do yourself a favor and get this when it is on sale. It's an awesome fun little indi game! I definitely recommend it.
