I want to like this game. You manage a carrier strike group as the admiral. You can change the group ship composition. Upgrade the crew/aircraft/ships. The battles are more managed rather than fought. RNG plays a role. Your goal is to keep planes in the air and the strike group alive. I haven't had any bugs yet. My biggest issue is the game is seemingly abandoned on GOG. The Steam version had an update in May 2023 from the new dev with new missions. GOG is still on the Feb 2023 version. Be nice if there was an update from the dev here on GOG.
I played this as a child back in 2001. Was one of my favorites. The campain is pretty good and challenging even on easy. A big skirmish game can take hours even days to beat. The AI cheats by gathering resources much faster. Decent game for the price especially if a sell is on. Works good on my Win 10 PC.
Blizzard before WOW. Can't beat it wished they'd go back. Runs great on my windows 10 PC. Was a blast playing through it again.
This game is a chore to play. The controls are poor and they are your biggest enemy. The enemy AI is pretty dumb, once you know their tricks the game plays itself. I only played for the story. Warcraft 2 is a better experiance.
I grew up on this game. Was a great trip down memory lane. Music is great and scenarios are challenging.
