For what its worth, its worth getting. I hope they port more Castlevania games on GOG.com DRM free gaming for life! 1: You can change screen settings by DirectX in the program folder 2: Its simple. You get three Castlevania games and two Contra games. It works alright, its not terrible.

Had this back then in the Xbox 360 days. Only complaint with the PC version is you cant map some stuff to the mouse interace interms of button bindings, also considering the mouse has better view of camera than a analog controller has. Outside that its a very engaging interesting game worth trying out!
Good graphics, good music. Some may prefer the story pacing of first game. But 2nd game is equally fun and great in my view. This was first game i played of the series way way back then, and fell in love with the series from here on out. Remastered version is not that bad either, though i do slightly prefer original mainly because i dont like the help toggles much. But nonetheless, amazing game!

Its a great game. And i was hyped seeing this on GOG when i played SNES.. and my conclusion PC - Insanely confusing gameplay - Bad music choice - Just doesnt make me want to explore SNES however (which came out later which is insanely good) - Great music - Imaginative game - Gameplay allows you more control of the character than randomly walk around with mouse and confusing controls. SNES is definite version basically. If you have to get it, go with SNES. Its a great game, but PC one is just so rough and not good

If you have seen this one on steam. Dont get it 1: Not DRM Free 2: The HD version isnt so good, the grid looks off in battle. And the overall changes arent that good. Overall this GOG that comes from original PC CD version of this game is the best version hands down! Fun multiplayer with friends and a overall interesting campaign. The best game in the series and one of the best games ever made!

Introduced me to the series. Got hooked!
