I have played this game since the original Pixel Dungeon first hit the market over 12ish years ago, and it has remained a favorite. I like it so much that I purchased it here on gog after playing it from the Git-Hub repository, 1) The monsters are both simple and varied enough to pose a challenge with out making the game feel like a slog. 2) The traps are both rare enough and consequential enough to justify their relative rarity. 3) The way the game plays is very intuitive. 4) The bosses each have their own mechanics that you should play around, yet all but one can be brute-forced if you should choose. 5) The game handles "Unlocks" very well, aside from classes all they do is save the player time searching up things on the wiki. 6) The tutorial is very well integrated into both the gameplay and the lore. 7) The game is very stable. 8) The game is getting a slow drip-feed of quality improvements and additional content every few months. If a well polished and well balanced turn-based rouge-like is your cup of coffee, this is the game for you.
