I don't have Omerta, but I have X-Com. From what I've seen, to compare Omerta to the latest X-Com title is ridiculous. Even the original X-Com from back in the 90s was probably a better game. The latest X-Com title is utterly AWESOME. Omerta probably can't hold X-Com's jockstrap. If you REALLY have $40 burning a hole in your pocket, pick up X-Com: Enemy Unknown instead of this sad wannabe. Even on GOG, you could pick up the Silent Storm series, which is probably light-years ahead of this garbage.
