Alice fans are in for some disappointment. Almost everything about this game is abrasive. The mind numbing gameplay, the cringe worthy script, the grating voice acting. Really not wild about the modernizing of the fairy tale characters in Grimm. (Imagine playing through American McGee's Alice except now she's a valley girl and they've added some much needed four letter words. Kill me now.) Grimm packs in a slew of low brow adult humor for you as well. A shame all the jokes are bad and always out of place, which is how you'll feel every time you play this game. Grimm the dwarf has a voice like nails on a chalkboard, which is perfect for him but it makes for an annoying experience since he narrates the whole game. He even jabbers on as you play, telling you to "Make it stinky!" and "Butt slam it!" over and over. Seriously? You have ONE move! I know what to do! Well two moves if you count him constantly peeing. Not sure who decided a lack of bladder control would make for a cool character. Maybe they could patch this game to give Grimm a cool diaper... except then you'd only have the one move again and in a game this shallow I'll take all the depth I can get.
