I bought the game for the general atmosphere that this game has. I'm not that much into dark mistery, paranormal things, but the game has a unique scent to it, i cannot describe, it's very enjoyable, and the music it's sooo cool. Starting from main menu, the soundtrack already puts you in this position of "ooh my, what do i do now?" Combat it's not the strongest point, but again, the old cars, buildings, outside setups...they did work to make it look and feel like in the '30s, a very nice touch!
Having played all desperados games, this one really brought back memories while being a true RTT, sadly people don't understand nowadays this type of games and the developer closed doors. Hopefully the genre won't disappear, we need more games with soul like this one, graphically, gameplay, character wise, it's stunning. I wholeheartedly recommend this title, it gives so much satisfaction when you complete a mission just by your own planning, and boy there are a lot of ways to do that :) 10\10 PS: the series was there way before shaddow tactics, along with the 1st commandos titles, very loved games ,MiMiMi just revived a classical after they managed to hit the market with ST, which indeed was a very good game!
