I am not a D&D Gamer, and I haven't played the first two games. I come from more dynamic and action based RPG's like Guild Wars 2, The Witcher 3 or Skyrim. But I have to say that Baldurs Gate 3 really grows on me. I like the pacing and the round based combat system. I love how many Character-, Dialog-and Storyoptions you get. I haven't seen a game that is so much "choose your own adventure"-style like BG3. I have to say, that for me it's still overwhelming and a bit complex, but I am having fun nonetheless. If you don't have high expectations cause you are a D&D or Baldur's Gate Veteran and you are okay with not understand everything right away, give it a shot!
