Control Ultimate Edition

Too difficult for me....

I would love to dive deeper into mysterious "oldest house" and it's story, as I only pllayed the game a few hours. Sadly the combat is too hard for me. I'm not great at shooter games, but I still loved Alan Wake and liked Quantum Break very much. I also ocasionally died in those games, but here I even had a hard time finishing the first bigger fight (The one before you meet Emily Pope). The Enemys are bullet sponges and my own character Jesse seems to be made out of paper. After 2-3 hits your dead and you only recover if you kill enemies and collect blue shards from them. Though it's not easy to get to these shards because where one (now dead) enemy was, others aren't far of. The combination of dying a lot, losing 10% of your materials with every death and long loading times are too much for me right now. Unfortunately there are also no difficulty modes to choose from. I would still love to play the game on an easier mode. Maybe I would even replay it on a higher difficulty after I'm more comfortabel with the fighting mechanics/controls. I'm sure there are a lot of people who played the game and are laughing right now or are scratching theire heads, beacause for them this game was (too) easy. So if you are good or at least decent in third person shooters this could be a game for you. Sadly it's not for my. Maybe I give it an other shot someday, but for now I'm too frustrated with it.
