World to the West

hurts my hands

You have to hold down buttons to keep the camera on the character, otherwise the view defaults to a terminally close shot of the character at the very edge of the screen. I thought maybe I was missing something, but when I investigated, I found that the buttons for it were literally labeled "pan (right/left/up/down)." Not sure how it will be for others, but the game also defaulted to a square screen shape for me and I had to change it to wide screen in the options. Sadly, that didn't help with the camera angle. This game appears to have been released in 2017, so I'm not sure why it would do that, especially in combination with the bad camera angles. Because of this combination of things, I was unable to make it more than 10 minutes into the game before giving up. If the camera situation was better, I think this is a game I would love to play and the soundtrack is fantastic.

Calico

Like snuggling with a cat

This game is cozy, comforting, and soft. Take it slow and you'll have lots of fun. As a nonbinary person, I also really loved the character creator, which allowed me to make an adorable, colorful, fat girl with a big beautiful beard. Life affirming. You can also take a potion to be a cat if you'd rather do that :) If you're LGBTQ and love you some cat girls and cozy gameplay, this is a real gem. Also features my favorite cooking minigame possibly ever.
