First of all I want to point out that I am not too far into the main quest. I therefore cannot say anything about the relation of the side quests and the main quest (i heard that was where the game shines most). But I can say, that for PC the issues are minor, compared to what I heard alot of people say. I am 20 hours in and have not encountered any game breaking bugs. There are alot of glitches though. But those, to me fall under the Bethesda tier. You know, the kind that is plain old fun, be it immersion breaking, The story so far is great and for this alone it is worth buying it to me. Though I would advice to wait a month or two, as the glitches and performance issues are currently being worked on by CDPR. Likewise with the Witcher 3 at launch. We must not forget what kind of a Cult Classic that has become!! Because I have rather low specs I currently play on low graphics with about 50 FPS. I achieved this with a 1050 ti and intel i7 with 4 cores, 16 GB Ram. In my opinion it looks good enough, but when you get closer to npcs and vehicles you notice that they pop out of their low resolution state (dunno what it is called) too late and too closeby. This, along with wonky vehicle controls are really the only problems I have with this game.
