This game may have started badly, what with all the bugs and issues at launch day, but the devs worked exceptionally hard to fix it and it shows. Nowadays, this game is a legend. Almost everything about it is exceptional, although driving on the streets of Night City is still a frustrating experience because of the camera and the overly-sensitive controls when using a keyboard. That being said, the story is excellent, the side quests are legendarily good, the characters are absolutely amazing, the world feels real and the combat feels very good. The graphics part is superlative and the sound is legendary, especially the SAMURAI songs. The Phantom Liberty expansion is an amazing addition to the game, with a story easily better than most full games. Everything about the expansion is exceptional. Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba are dowright amazing in their roles. Don't play this because it's a CDPR game, don't play it because it's a Cyberpunk game, play it because you deserve to play an exceptional game.

This game is surprisingly good and easily the gaming experience that fans have been waiting for. It's not perfect, mind you, but the few minuses it does have don't ruin the experience (for most people, at least, as preferences do vary). Elements to consider: - Storyline: Not amazing, but fits perfectly well within the Terminator universe and links very well with the first two movies. If you agree that Terminator movies past the second were disappointing at best, then you'll love this story. Lots of familiar elements, Easter Eggs galore, great atmosphere, great music. - Characters: You won't find deep philosophical thoughts here, but the characters illustrate the Terminator universe quite well. They all have some background story, which is nice, and this makes them work well in the context. - Gameplay: The mechanics are mostly tried and true and work well. The weapons feel right. Difficulty is ok: regular robots aren't a big threat, but the Terminators can wipe the floor with you if you underestimate them. AI can feel clunky at times, but is generally ok. - Graphics: It's not the latest and greatest, but it does the job well. The Terminator universe on show is believable and the atmosphere is great. - Sound: Absolutely amazing! They use the original sounds from the first two movies and everything sounds absolutely perfect, especially the plasma weapons. Character voices are passable at worst, but decent in general and even good at times. - Single Player Campaign: Semi-open world - this encourages players to explore and you will be rewarded if you do. You can easily take dozens of hours to finish the campaign if you explore surroundings and engage with characters. True to the movies, the future's not set: there are multiple endings based on the choices you make. I got this game at full price and I honestly don't regret it. If you catch this thing on sale, then it's a must buy. I hope to see more Terminator games like this one.
