I don't know if I'd enjoy this game if I hadn't played it as a kid, but as it is I'm having a lot of fun revisiting it more than twenty years later. The story is so thin as to be nearly nonexistent and the graphics are...reflective of when it was made...but there's something intensely satisfying about just killing and levelling and collecting treasure. Despite the dated graphics, the controls aren't bad (though it's weird not to be able to strafe) and it's pretty easy to see items in the world and locate quest objectives based on in-game descriptions, things that cannot be said of every game of its era.
