Yet another GOG title that supposedly runs on Mac but has no Apple Sillicon support. If it hadn't cost me less than $1 I'd be asking for a refund.
I love Oblivion, and personally feel it is superior to Skyrim. Even like the bugginess of the original game - it has some natural charm. I have some critiques on this version of the game though: 1. All the quests from included DLCs populated randomly as I entered the sewers, which made zero narrative sense (i.e you've recieved a letter, you heard a rumor - how I just escaped prison and I'm in the sewers?). I thought there was a bug that might make the game unplayable, untill I found the explanation online. 2. No controller support. My gamepad is not even detected by the game.
