Master of Orion 3

MOO1 5 Stars MOO 2 5 Stars MOO 3 0 Stars

I remember the forums from Quicksilver, back when MOO 3 was in development. How excited i was that the devs were present on the forums and participating. Then shock and horror...I saw where this micro management thing was planned, and that one, then another, and another, and another. I commented..DONT setup 1000 micromangement details@! "We aren't" they responded. YOU ARE, read your own statements! I bought the game on the day of release. I went to Best Buy, bought it, brought it home and asnxiously installed it. 1 hour after installation, I uninstalled the game, and listed the game on Ebay. Moo3, Diablo 3, BG 3...MASSIVE disappointemnts. Seems the 3rd incarnation, is once too often for going back to the well. DO.NOT.BUY.THIS.GAME

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Horrible "game"

The game is difficult, is what some will say. The game is absurdly, insanely, ridiculously difficult, is an honest statement. The game takes you off your horse and forces you to walk a mile, in the rain, all to set up an ambush against you. Why in gawds name, would you dismount and walk for a mile, in the rain? The combat system...geebus gawd I never did figure it out "Not that way", is something I heard over and over again, interspersed with the occassional, "Like that", and I never knew what I did differently. Suffice to say, you will master Fencing and qualify for your home nations Olympic Team, more readily than you will "master" this games absurd combat system. Then I went into a town, sold alchemy suppplies I had harvested, then went back out and harvested more. Back to town and sold those, went back out and harvested more. Back to town, and I get arrested for possessing stolen goods. Decline to pay the fine, so I get jailed over night. Next morning I leave the jail, and before I can even cross the street...I get arrested AGAIN, for possessing stolen goods. I had ZERO stolen goods on my person the 1st time, let alone the 2nd time. Oh yeah, and I was employed at the time, as a member of the Ciity Watch, so go figure that one out.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition

Game is pure hogwash and horsesh*t

OK, I bought it because on you tube it looked GREAT. Folks said it is hard. Hard is good. This game though, is beyond absurd hard. It makes no sense. As far as I an concerned, I'm still in the tutorial stages. I just went back to bury my folks. I apparently get killed and am then in some hellscape with imagery like a color film negative. All red, and black and on fire. I'm supposed to "save my parents", who are dead. But I can not see a gddmn thing. 45 minutes of running around in circles, I think, and accomplishing nothing at all. Hard is fine, but games are also supposed to be fun. this is not fun. This is pure, unadulterated, garbage.

Bad reviews, do not understand the game

Zuunu says only 3 updates. I have the game via STEAM. It was initially released in Apr 2019, v114. Since then, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 121,122, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127 and 128 have come out and stabilized.129 was just released into early beta. It is unstable, but available for play testing. No less than FOURTEEN updates have been released since the initial version. I do not play in 1st person, though that is an option. Over all, the sim does superb job, of replicating the stress of a subs wartime patrol. HIGHLY recommend this game.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister

Solasta: Crown of the Magister

I have over 400 hours in game via another source. I have never before found a PC DnD game, that so well replicated the feel of a table tops session. The voice acting, passable, is not at all unlike listening to your pals sitting across the table from you, snarking at something stupid you have done. Faithfully brought to the PC, I have high hopes for Tactical Adventures continuing to build on this foundation.

Baldur's Gate 3

More DOS: 3 than BG: 3

Larian bought the rights to BG 3, so they could piggyback their vision of DOS: 3 into a deeper market. I bought the game on STEAM, and refunded it after 90 minutes. (STEAM gives you 2 hrs max) I did not necesaarily dislike the game, but I DID dislike, that it is not BG so much as DOS, set in a Forgptten realms world, sort of. Had they titled it what it is, DOS: 3, I would not have bought it in the 1st place, as I do not find the Div Orig Sin series to be that good. IF you really like DOS and DOS 2, then yu will most likey love this game. If you loved BG/BG II and sort of like DOS 3, you MIGHT like this game. If you didn't care for DOS/DOS 2; you will most likely not care fot his either.
