Got this for free. really wanted to love it. usually anything with a Lovecraft tag gets a like from me. This.... This is a travesty. Controls are rubbish an require pinpoint accuracy. There is no form of tutorial and without an extensive internet search I would not have been able to progress beyond the first small area. Once I had learned the "secret" to jumping over trees things didn't get much better. No guidance at all is provided and ignorance will kill you quickly causing you to start from the beginning. This is a no go for me.
This is completely unplayable. At first glance it looks promising, however apart from running around the first two screens and swinging your sword about there is nothing to do. Trying to access any kind of menu to check controls or learn how to progress is futile. released way to early and on the wrong system.
So dissapointed... everything i read about this game and all the pics pointed toward a first person shooter. Its not. its a top down shooter and a lackluster one at that. I was super excited to play it as it was written up as being similar to serious sam and duke nukem..... both FPS, unless you include the original duke 2d platformer that didnt have the sass seen in the modern take. That sass is the ONLY similarity.... Would have made a brilliant FPS.
